Christine I agree that we need to fight ignorance with facts but to win a political war you need to be pragmatic, particularly when you are losing the political battle, state by state. Most of Americans have no stake in transgender rights. They still see us as drag queens and sexual predators. That is an image we need to aggressively attack to gain control of the middle ground. We are not there yet. For true equality everyone should compete without regardless of gender. That is finally happening in grammar school level. Unfortunately it takes time to get acceptance by the general population. We need to win them over from the ignorant haters.
