Cis and Trans are only important if someone is comparing the different experiences that women can have, like a catholic woman versus a protestant woman or an Indian woman versus a British woman or a white woman versus a black woman.

Transwomen are constantly asked to prove that they are really women. The world has demanded that differentiation because our gender is not accepted as is.
