"For the other folks, who are willing to let us stay in the closet, knowing that we are miserable, I say, shame on you. I thought you loved me."

I am trying a modified closet that I hope will allow my wife and I to stay together BUT she has to agree to leave the closet door open. Maybe some day she will accept the contents of the closet and not be so afraid. I will help her and I hope we can laugh together along the way.

I am Emma and I am happy that the male life I have lived has been wonderful. I love my transgender soul and the joy to have discovered it. No one will ever take that away from me!

I am proud of being transgender and being part of this community with you all.

Much love,

Emma

After decades of denial I finally answered the question “What’s wrong with me?” The answer is “Nothing”. I am transgender and I am OK.
