Hanno I had the same ignorance that you have understanding the difference between sex and gender. They are not the same thing. Exhaustive medical research has defined the differences. I will rely on them.

I did not just wake up and decide that I am a woman so your statement of a middle age crisis is absolutely invalid. It been a lifelong , painful experience from my birth. I would rather be cisgender, believe me that is a much easier path.

Transgender suicides and death define a life path of broken emotional glass. You would not elect to walk it.

I accept that I am not you and you are not me. I will assume that we will not come to an agreement.

Maybe I am overly sensitive to hate.

I wish you peace and happiness.

After decades of denial I finally answered the question “What’s wrong with me?” The answer is “Nothing”. I am transgender and I am OK.
