I Need Your Opinion

On another transgender website I was told the following by someone in authority:

“Emma, your post shows a deep misunderstanding of the community here that does so much to help you. May I suggest that you spend some time learning about the multitude of identities that are right here before you? We are a rich, diverse population with many different experiences and paths.

I can’t help but feel that your Medium articles only serve to hinder the cisgender population that you write them for from actually understanding transgender people….”

I am in the most insecure moment of my life and I have posted here with the best intentions. If what I am writing is harming the transgender community I need to know. I do not write to boost my ego and I never want to mislead or hurt anyone.

Please do not hold back your opinion.
