I was putting my seven-year-old son to bed and he asked:

"Do you believe in God?" I said yes thinking that was enough. but he had a follow-up question:

"How do you know do you know?"

I responded: "I know because God created assholes to make me look good. I just don't need to look this good." The answer was obviously good enough because he went right to sleep.

Now, as, a 28-year-old he reminded me of that conversation. It clearly worked or gave him a reason for therapy.....:)
