It’s not the word but how you use it. Language is very tricky. Wikipedia is only useful to me if it defines or explains a concept I already understand.

Loudmouth people whether trans, gay or straight are just loudmouth people. The majority are respectful and use language appropriately. My article reflects my respect and my thoughts about the still developing world of gender and the language surrounding it.

“Cis” is never an insult to me, no more than trans is.
