…admit and disclose I am trans when needed but will stop wearing the trans label for everyone to see. I want to go back to having mundane, run-of-the-mill, everyday conversations that have no semblance to being trans or a trans existence.

Marti and Jas I absolutely agree with this. I have spent a lifetime in confrontation. I want to live the rest of it as a woman with a trans background. I just want to be and be seen as normal.
