Michelle you are absolutely right, electrolysis is brutally expensive and unaffordable for so many! I didn’t want to go into the cost because I wanted people to understand just some of the incredible pain that transgender people experience to simply be themselves.

The only reason I could afford it is that my company has a medical plan that covers the majority of the cost. I still had to fight with the insurance company to cover it.
Many friends have budgeted to do it slowly, over years to afford it.
