Words are so tricky. They mean different things to different people. For me as a trans woman, male privilege felt like a baseball bat that has been used to punish me because I was born physically male.

My point might be better expressed as the “privilege” of being born a male. I always saw it as a detriment. As a baby boomer that “privilege” did force me to hide. So ultimately we have different ways of describing the same thing.
