We can spend endless time debating Nurture vs Nature vs Id vs no free will. I know one simple clinical fact, I have a condition called gender dysphoria caused by an incongruence between my sense of gender and my biological sex. I have been diagnosed as transgender. I think it is even more dangerous to assume that my core sense of gender is based on how I was raised. Pre-natal gender wiring is my lead theory until proven otherwise.
